Leah Remini celebrated the King of Queens’ 25th birthday
The popular series The King of Queens recently turned 25 years old and cast members celebrated the milestone. The series aired from 1998 to 2007. The actress took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the show. Remini captioned the post as “truly special show.”
The Cheers actress was nostalgic for the series and, in a post, wrote: “When I signed on as Carrie Heffernan, I had attended hundreds of auditions, was cast in many pilots and some short-lived series, and finally “cast The King Of Queens. As soon as production began on the first season, I knew I was home, and I’m lucky to be able to say I was a part of a truly special show that ran for nine seasons and 207 episodes and is still successfully in syndication.”
“Our talented guest and recurring cast made the show what it is. Working with the cast, crew and our incredible and dedicated writers and producers was a dream come true for an actress,” she explained.
