Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal addressed a meeting in Punjab’s Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday. During his speech, he lashed out at the central government and the governor of Punjab, accusing them of suspending funds to the state.
Talking about AAP’s meteoric rise in the last 10 years, he said the party was able to form government in two states (Delhi and Punjab) and won assembly seats in other states.
Addressing the crowd at the jansabha, Kejriwal said: “…the BJP is afraid that if the AAP completes so many social welfare works, no one will be able to stop the victory of the AAP…The people of Delhi have decided to give up the seven Lok Sabha seats to AAP…if the people of Punjab also give us the 13 Lok Sabha seats…all their wishes will be fulfilled…The BJP is afraid of only one party, the AAP…” .

He said that for the first time in the last 75 years, the Punjab government has purchased a private power plant (GVK Power’s 540 megawatt private thermal power plant at Goindwal Sahib in Tarn Taran) and that too at an affordable price. He promised low-cost electricity through the power station to traders, businessmen, industrialists, etc.
Kejriwal further said that the Punjab government’s recently launched flagship scheme ‘Ghar Ghar Muft Ration’ (home delivery of ration) will decimate the ‘ration mafia’ in the state.
