Tech News of the Week (2nd week of February 2024): Google has officially changed the name of its AI chatbot from Bard to Gemini and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is seeking $7 billion in funding.

Tech news of the week in India: Google rebrands its AI-powered generative chatbot Bard as Gemini now and the company has also launched a new app for Android users and has integrated Gemini into the Google app for users. iPhone, and Sam Altman. Google is likely to introduce new features to Gemini in the coming days.

    Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, is currently seeking a whopping $7 trillion in funding for a “wildly ambitious technology initiative,” a WSJ report suggests. The report also highlights that the company could use this funding to develop advanced AI models and establish more chip manufacturing factories to solve the problem of chipset shortage.
