In a heartbreaking escalation, an anti-tank missile hit a house in Metula amid intense exchanges between Hezbollah terrorists and the IDF. The videos captured Israeli planes threateningly over Beirut. The city, evacuated due to incessant attacks by Iran-backed Hezbollah, faced imminent rocket barrages as sirens blared near the Lebanese border. Coinciding with the appointment of General Hassan Awde as Lebanon’s military chief, the IDF reported that Hezbollah had fired projectiles at Kibbutz Yiftah. Rockets were fired at IDF soldiers near Meiss el-Jabal. The cities of the northern border were evacuated since October 8. Hezbollah, which backs Gaza amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas, launched daily attacks from Lebanon. Earlier, three soldiers were injured by a Hezbollah anti-tank missile in Kiryat Shmona. The attack hit the nearby Biranit military base, with additional shells hitting Kiryat Shmona and Mount Hermon. Israeli Air Force jets also attacked a Hezbollah terrorist compound in Rachaf, southern Lebanon, on Wednesday.
